Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Delightful lunch we had here on a Friday. It was very sunny so we took a table in the shaded terrace. The dishes proposed in their set menus are very original. e.g. scallop tartare with sun-dried cherry tomatoes , or stuffed mini eggplants with beef "daube" served with home made pesto, strawberry soup served with lavender ice cream. Wonderful!"
"Coast was a chance find as we drove through Agay and we had a great lunch - despite being told off for just grabbing a table. It was just before 2pm when we got there but no real problem getting served. My wife had a starter portion of tuna tartare with avocado and mango and I had the dish of the day baked butternut squash. Excellent all round. Well worth a return visit"
"If you want to relax and enjoy good food in-front of the beach side, this is the place to be. I wish I could go back here soon. Staff were very friendly. Food was superb. Must try when you visit Saint Raphaël. :)"
"Lovely fresh ingredients and warm service. Prawn salad, fish, Scallop ceviche was fresh and sweet. Tarte tatin to finish was very good especially with a view of the sea :)"
"We didn't expect to find this precious restaurant in the middle of Agay. The service was really friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the "Burger Course" but don't take an appetizer before - it is soooo much! As dessert I had Creme brulee and a coffee. It is really worth the visit!"
"This is one of those places you’d never expect to have such good food, given its seaside location and the fact that it looks quite touristic. But I was truly impressed by the quality and flavor of the dishes. My mother, who has been living in St. Raphaël for two years already, said it was the best food she has had here so far. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, and we will definitely be back. I really loved it — so glad we found this place. Also, as foreigners living on the Côte d’Azur, we often struggle with meal schedules and tend to arrive late. Here, they kindly welcomed us even around 3 p.m., which was very much appreciated!"
"This restaurant we recommend. Perfect. We had the curry. Curry in a French restaurant? Well the curry was not very spicy but full of taste. Very nice. We had a good bottle of Rosé with the curry. The French fries are another master piece. Reserving a table is recommended."
"Came to this restaurant after debating between many of the others in the area and I’m glad I did. Delicious food and very friendly and patient staff but by far the best thing was the delicious food that was a very reasonable price and we even had a man singing and playing the guitar which was very pleasant. It created more of an atmosphere. Would definitely recommend."
